Chris Brymer

Music Manager

Chris Brymer, a native of Spartanburg, has been involved with the Hub City Hog Fest since its inception, initially as a volunteer and a performer. He currently holds the position of music booking manager on the Hog Fest board, showcasing his commitment to the Upstate's vibrant music scene and Spartanburg's renowned musical heritage. When he's not engaged in organizing music events, Chris is often found playing percussion alongside various local artists in the Upstate area.

Beyond his contributions to the Hog Fest, Chris plays a significant role in the corporate management team of the Morgan Square Hospitality Group. This group is behind some of Spartanburg's most beloved dining spots, including Delaney's Irish Pub, Gerhard's Cafe, and the soon-to-open Isla's on the Square.

Chris's dedication to his community extends to his service on the board of directors for the Spartanburg Little Theatre and Sauce Wars for Backpack Buddies. Through Sauce Wars, he supports St. John's Lutheran Church in its mission to provide weekend and holiday meals to over 115 food-insecure families in the Spartanburg area.

Chris lives in the city of Spartanburg with his wife, Sydni, and their two corgis, Aoife and Stu.

it's not just a competition — it's a great cause!

We are thrilled that you are excited about the Hub City Hog Fest, a barbecue contest to benefit Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, S.C. All proceeds from this event benefit Mobile Meals.

Since the the Hub City Hog Fest first started filling Downtown Spartanburg with the sweet, smoky smell of barbecue in 2013, it has raised more than $400,000 for Mobile Meals, and we hope to continue for many years to come. Please come out and not only have a lot of fun, but join with us in supporting this great organization and helping our community!
