Tom Fenner

Tom Fenner

Volunteer Coordinator

Tom Fenner grew up in Columbus, Ohio, then came down to Wofford College in 2007 and never looked back. At Wofford, he studied English and was an active member of the college community, serving on orientation staff and writing for the student newspaper. Tom worked in Admissions at Wofford for 5 years after graduating, when he gained an even bigger love for the greater Spartanburg community. During that time, Tom got involved in Spartanburg Young Professionals, United Way of the Piedmont Young Leaders, and of course, Hub City Hog Fest since its inception.

After spending 3 years in Athens, GA, Tom returned to the Upstate in 2019, and currently lives and works in Greenville as a University Recruiter. Tom is thrilled to return to the Hog Fest board, and serve again as volunteer coordinator. Bringing the community together over great food and entertainment, while supporting the incredible work of Mobile Meals is what it’s all about!

it's not just a competition — it's a great cause!

We are thrilled that you are excited about the Hub City Hog Fest, a barbecue contest to benefit Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, S.C. All proceeds from this event benefit Mobile Meals.

Since the the Hub City Hog Fest first started filling Downtown Spartanburg with the sweet, smoky smell of barbecue in 2013, it has raised more than $400,000 for Mobile Meals, and we hope to continue for many years to come. Please come out and not only have a lot of fun, but join with us in supporting this great organization and helping our community!
